Breakfast in Cabinn Scandinavia

The staff was super friendly, and the facilities had everything needed for a short work trip. It should have been noted that the rooms do have 2 single beds but they are bed bunks - I did travel alone, so it did not have any consequence for me, but the room is effectively tiny for 2 people, it really is like travelling in a caravan. Other than this, the bed was incredibly comfy, and the location is excellent. It is within 2 minutes walking distance to the nearest metro station that goes directly to the airport, and within a 10-15 min walking distance to a theater, shops, local convenience stores, including 24/24h 7-eleven, and has all the minimum amenities for a short stay - including a shower, sink and toilet, and bedding and towels, plenty of electricity sockets as well, and a small desk. A kettler for boiling water was included with some teas and a few samples of shampoo and bathing gel + 1 piece of solid hand soap. The breakfast has a lot of variety and its like an all-you-can-eat buffet, well worth the price if you are into a strong breakfast, or if you are on a tight schedule. If you're travelling for vacations and you only take a small breakfast (like a sandwich + latte), I would suggest hitting a local 7-eleven instead, that's cheaper.

I'm giving this the highest rating to counteract what I feel are a bunch of unfairly negative reviews! This place is exactly what it says on the tin; it's a clean, comfortable budget option in a central and safe location. Zero frills, but that was totally fine with us. The only other option we could see in Copenhagen in this price range were pods in hostels further out of the city where we wouldn't have had our own bathroom. Maybe don't stay here if your priority is having a large room with bells and whistles, but for our purposes for a four-night stay for two, where we preferred to spend our money on food and experiences and we were mostly out exploring the city, Cabinn Scandanavia was perfect.

I had a great stay at this hotel, with friendly staff and a good bed!! The rooms are based on the cabins you will find on an overnight ferry, so they are small but functional. The bed was really comfortable and I had enough space for my luggage. The bathroom is tiny, but everything worked and the shower was hot. If you are just like me and exploring the city most of the day, then this hotel is perfect for the price. If you are with two or more people and you spend a decent time of the day in your room, then this is not the place for you!! Location was great, next to the metro and within walking distance from Tivoli and the city hall

The location could not have been better and the view from the window was to die for - one could see the lakes! The bed was supercomfortable, the premises - very clean. The only downside was a tiny shower combined with the toilet and the water did not go down the drain well, so one ended up standing in the water and flooding the whole bathroom. We also had a payment issue as we paid with Amex and got billed, but according to the hotel AMEX is not accepted, so we ended up paying again on departure and had to reclaim the funds via Amex back later. Other than that - everything was great and the staff was lovely and friendly!

The ad says 'all you need to sleep' and it's quite right. The beds are comfortable and the space the room is manageable. The small room has a window and this makes all the difference. Kids loved sleeping on the up beds. I had second thoughts when I asked myself if I had to bring them down in the case of an emergency (my kids are big enough to enjoy the experience but still unable to move down alone and fast safely). The bathroom works well for the basics. The breakfast worth its price: many options and good quality. 20 minutes from the center by walk or 5 minutes to the next metro station.
